PAISAJE DESOLADO (2013)

Es un díptico de dos videos que forman un paisaje en llamas.  Ver caminar el fuego en las sabanas, ver una pura brasas el llano, el humo ondulando por arriba con un olor a carrizo y a miel. El fuego y el viento dibujan el paisaje, aunque el hombre en constante busqueda de hallazgos de petróleo han logrado extraer todo el material, cambiando las dinámicas culturales del manejo del paisaje, abandonado las tierras , entonces, el aislamiento de esos espacios de origen del material dejan una huella de la ruina del progreso, creando un paisaje vacío y estéril.

It is a diptych of two videos that form a landscape on fire. See the fire walk in the savannahs, see a pure embers on the plain, the smoke billowing overhead with a smell of reed and honey. Fire and wind draw the landscape, although man in constant search for oil finds have managed to extract all the material, changing the cultural dynamics of landscape management, abandoning the lands, then, the isolation of those spaces of origin of the material they leave a trace of the ruin of progress, creating an empty and barren landscape.
