ROMPECABEZAS (2011-2015)
El laboratorio Libro-Árbol, un proyecto ejecutado en Bogotá, en donde varios artistas y estudiantes de otras disciplinas hicieron posible el taller, en el cual fue dirigido por los artistas Mark Dion y Felipe Arturo. Este taller tenía el objetivo de construir una biblioteca de maderas, práctica originaria del siglo XVIII , presentado en la edición número 13 de la dOCUMENTA de Kassel y cada participante realizaría su propia versión de un libro-árbol.
Mi Libro-Árbol quería retratar el árbol (hacer una pequeña descripción fisiológica), en donde se unen las características físicas como: la hoja, el tallo, la flor, la semilla y los frutos construyendo una masa, cada característica era ensamblada a partir de una estructura lógica organizada adentro como un rompecabezas y una estructura caótica afuera. No era un libro, era una masa indefinida que buscaba ser definida, por medio de un juego de mesa para armar.

The Libro-Tree laboratory, a project carried out in Bogotá, where several artists and students from other disciplines made the workshop possible, in which it was directed by the artists Mark Dion and Felipe Arturo. This workshop had the objective of building a wood library, an original practice from the 18th century, presented in the 13th edition of the Kassel dOCUMENTA and each participant would make their own version of a tree-book.
My Book-Tree wanted to portray the tree (make a small physiological description), where physical characteristics such as: the leaf, the stem, the flower, the seed and the fruits are united, building a mass, each characteristic was assembled from a logical structure organized inside like a puzzle and a chaotic structure outside. It was not a book, it was an indefinite mass that sought to be defined, by means of a board game to assemble.
